Our Varieties

The ideal altitudes for a good Arabica coffee are between 1,000 and 1,700 meters above sea level. Growing it in the mountains keeps the plants at a cool temperature that favors the cultivation of our coffee varieties.

OBATA

Balanced flavor and sweetness. It has distinctive notes of caramel, chocolate and ripe fruit.

It is a hybrid variety developed in Brazil by crossing the Timor Hybrid and Mundo Novo varieties.

PARAINEMA

Flavor with notes of chocolate, tropical fruits and caramel, with moderate acidity. Produces tasty and enjoyable cups.

Developed in Honduras from the cross between the Sarchimor and Timor Hybrid varieties. It has an early maturity cycle, the cherries ripen relatively quickly. This can be beneficial to farmers as it allows them to schedule and harvest more efficiently.

LEMPIRA

Good balance and pleasant flavor, it presents sweet and soft notes, with nuances of chocolate and nuts.

Developed in Honduras. One of the outstanding characteristics of Lempira coffee is its high resistance to coffee rust (Hemileia vastatrix).

CATIGUA-MG2

It is valued for its balanced and smooth flavor. It generally has moderate acidity, medium body, and notes of chocolate, dried fruit, and caramel.

Hybrid variety originated in Brazil. It is the result of the cross between the Catuaí variety and the Icatu variety.

ANACAFE-14

Moderate acidity, a medium body and notes of chocolate, caramel and sweet fruits.

Also known as Anacafé Caturra, it is a hybrid of the original Caturra coffee, a variety of Arabica that is known for its short stature and high cup quality. It was selected and improved by ANACAFE specifically to adapt to the growing conditions in Guatemala.
